A Springy Card!

Since today is Saturday, our SU group has a color and sketch challenge. Today, we are playing along with the ColourQ (#21) color challenge and Inspiration In Action (121) sketch challenge. I have dinner guests coming, so I decided to combine in order to save time! The colors are very Springy and I think from all the snow lately, it was a good combination! I love the sketch layout too - simple, yet perfect for adding embellishments (another great combo!).

A Rose Is Not Just A Rose

Today, my sister (our group's upline) posted the sketch and color challenges for us. We decided to do these each week. She picked the Clean and Simple Fall to Layout sketch (#78) and the ColourQ color challenge (#19).

Well, I was all set and started working when I realized I was using the wrong Rose color! I was using Rose Red instead of Regal Rose - they are very different! I thought they should be similar since "rose" is in both names, but not so! I had to start all over :) I'll post the other card tomorrow. Here is my card for these challenges.
