March Spring Flower Swap

Our group's swap theme this month was Spring Flowers. I was excited about this swap because I absolutely love the A Flower For All Seasons stamp set. I decided to use the tulip/bird stamp because I thought it best represents Spring.

I used my Stamp-a-majig to stamp the image on the little Kisses love notes. I then colored in the image with my SU! markers.
Again, I love using DSP. It really helps me with the colors and sets the tone for the card. I used the Tea Party DSP - lovely Spring colors!
Well, this swap was perfectly timed. The weather has turned warm and Spring has sprung!
Have a great weekend and enjoy Spring!

Another Easter Card

I used the SC267 sketch challenge to create this Easter card. I love the little bunny from this new set and knew I wanted to use it. I also love the Tea Party DSP because the colors are so Springy! It was the perfect paper to draw color from for an Easter card. What a cute little bunny, huh? Awww - love it! Thanks for looking!

If it's not nailed down, cover it!

My sister says her mantra is, "if it isn't nailed down, stamp it!" and that my mantra should be, "if it isn't nailed down, cover it!" She's just about right! I've covered most things around the house, even tissue boxes!
I love the designer papers. They truly inspire me.
I've been saving some cookie and coffee tins for a while and was inspired to cover one the other day. I love the Tea Party paper and decided to pair it with the new Eggcellent Eggs Kit. They have some fun borders for eggs and some bling! I won't be doing Easter eggs, but love the borders, die cut flowers/leaves, and bling. They made it so easy to decorate the tin and pens. I might just have to take this to the office!
Thanks for looking and have a great day :)

Happy Birthday, Debbie W!

Today is one of my favorite person's birthday! Happy Birthday, Debbie Williams!!! Here is the card I made. I was supposed to get together with her and some other gals today, but it is snowing like crazy! It really is beautiful though.

These stamps from Elzybells. I love the image and the words and knew I'd use them for her card. I used the SU! Tea Party DSP because the colors are perfect for the colors I wanted to use to color in the image. I used SU! markers, cardstock, brads, and ribbons to tie it all together (no pun intended!) :)
Happy Birthday again, Debbie! I hope it is a great day despite the bad weather.
