First up is Michelle's card. I think she did an excellent job! She said she struggled, but it sure doesn't look like it. I love that adorable paper she used and the quilt pattern is beautiful. I love the matching ribbon and button. She did an amazing job - I just love it! To see more of Michelle's work, please visit her blog here.
Next is my card. Wow, can I tell you what a struggle this was for me? I was so happy to finally try one of these cards, but then I was completely overwhelmed with patterns and trying to figure out which DSP to use! I think my pattern is very simple, and if I had to do over, I would have created more pieces. But, I did it and I'll never attempt one again! LOL Since my pattern was so small, I felt I needed more. Because it is a quilt card, I decided to "stitch" ribbon around the pattern. It still needed something, so I added the bows. I'm ready for a new challenge! Haaaaa
Lastly, we had Kathy Kennedy join our challenge again this month. Look at this great quilt card she made! It makes my head spin to think of piecing all of those pieces together. I do love this paper and the image with the buttons is adorable. To check out more of Kathy's creations, click here.
Well, I'm shocked another month has quickly passed. I did make some birthday cards and will be posting soon. This Saturday, our May challenge will post. Please join us if you can! Thanks for looking and have a great day.
Your cards are all very nice!
