Today, is my husband's (and probably half of Greece!) Name Day. He is named after St. Dimitrios. There is some really good information on Name Days here, if you are interested.
We went to Dimitrios' parents' last night to celebrate his and his father's Name Day. These are the cards I made. The penguin is for my husband and the cat for my Father-in-Law. It was hard not to put a bunch of ribbon or bows on the cards, since that is my style, but the buttons and the punches really helped. Thanks goodness for the DSP too ;)

I love names so the idea of celebrating a name day sounds so interesting to me. I don't think there is a name day for my name...maybe I'll have to create my own. thanks for your post.
