Ornament Card

I love the new Christmas DSP with matching rub-ons and punch! I should have used the rub-on before I put the middle section on this card, but you learn as you go, right?! ;) I used the new Merry and Bright rub-ons, Holiday Lounge DSP, Ornament punch, and Mistletoe ribbon. It's amazing what you can make without even stamping! TFL and have a great day!

5th and Final Sketch - A Blue Elephant!

This final sketch was difficult! I don't usually make square cards and the layers of circles threw me as well! I love the Animal Stories stamp set and matching Tall Tales DSP. So, once I decided to use these, it was fun! I'm such a straight line kind of gal, so the circles were a challenge at first. I do love this paper and the colors; so much fun! TFL

Stamps: Animal Stories

Paper: Tall Tales DSP, Chocolate Chip, Brilliant Blue, So Saffron, Old Olive, Rose Red, and Whisper White

Ink: Brilliant Blue

Accessories: So Saffron Ribbon and CM Circle Cutter

Sketch #4 - Fluffles!

I love Fluffles - this kitty always makes me smile :) I thought Fluffles was the right fit for this sketch and I absolutely love the Tea Party DSP. The colors are so cute! TFL

Stamps: Fluffles (Stampendous)

Paper: Tea Party DSP, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Almost Amethyst, Pretty In Pink, and Whisper White

Ink: Black Memento

Accessories: SU! Markers, Light Pink Ribbon, and CM Circle Cutter

Sketch #3 - Holiday Thyme

I'm so in the mood to make Christmas cards! So, for the 3rd sketch, I wanted to make a Christmas card and use one of my new Christmas stamps and ribbon! I really like this sketch design too. TFL

Stamps: Tree Trimmings

Paper: Holiday Thyme DSP, Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Bravo Burgundy, and Whisper White

Ink: Old Olive

Accessories: Ribbon Originals - Mistletoe, Silver Cord, and Punches

Sketch #2

This is my card for the 2nd sketch. I bought this Verve stamp because I thought it was such a beautiful cross. This was the perfect sketch in which to use it! Since it is an elegant cross, I wanted to use elegant paper to match. I found that the Bella Bleu DSP was just what I was looking for. TFL!

Stamps: Notes of Prayer (Verve)

Paper: Bella Bleu DSP, Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, and Kraft

Ink: Night of Navy

Accessories: Punch, Big Shot, and Brads

Sketch 1 - Check!

Here is my card for the August 2009 anni-Verve-sary sketch challenge. There are five of them. I decided to start by doing holidays. Since Halloween is coming up, I pulled out some Halloween papers and stamp sets and got going!

Stamps: Carved & Candlelit and Batty For You

Ink and Paper: Ghostly Greetings DSP, Pumpkin Pie, Kiwi Kiss, Basic Black, Basic Gray, and Whisper White

Beverly (aka beestamper on SCS) has come up with another wonderful sketch that I just had to try! I recently received my SU! order and I went a little overboard on Christmas goodies as I'm in the mood to make Christmas cards. So, I decided to use my new set, new DSP, and got to work. This is the card I created for this challenge. I really enjoyed it - thanks Beverly! Thanks for looking :)
